File Actions
You can perform multiple actions on files that are associated with AssetWise documents. Depending on the situation or the file(s) selected, certain actions are available to you.
The following table lists actions that may be performed on a file:
| Action | Descripton |
|---|---|
| Upload | Uploads the selected file and attaches it to the current document. |
| Download | Downloads the selected file to a location of your choosing. |
| Check In | Unlocks a file and allows others to access it. |
| Check Out | Locks a file for editing. The file is unavailable to others until it is checked back in. |
| Cancel Check Out | Cancels the file check in, and discards any changes that were made to the file. |
| Delete | Removes the attached file from the current document. |
| Export all to Excel | Exports a list of all files associated with the current document to an Excel workbook. |
